This teaches you how to download a Facebook video without having to register, pay for services, or install any software. You can use an online video downloading service to quickly save the video, or you can use the mobile version of the Facebook desktop site.
- 6.Go to the DownVids site. Go to http://www.downvids.net/ in your browser. You don’t need to keep Facebook open while you do this.
As with any heavily ad-sponsored site, using an ad-blocker will make navigating DownVids easier.
Right-click the video. Once you arrive at the video, press your mouse’s right button on it to prompt a drop-down menu.
On a Mac, you can also hold Ctrl and click the video.
On computers that have trackpads with no “right” button, you can usually tap the trackpad or press the trackpad’s main button with two fingers to simulate right-clicking.
Open Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/. This will open your News Feed page if you’re logged in.
If you aren’t logged in, enter your email address and password in the top-right corner of the page and click Log in.
2.Go to the video that you want to download. Either scroll through your News Feed until you find the video, or enter the name of the person who posted the video into the search bar at the top of the page and go to their account to look for the video.
4.Click Show video URL. It’s at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Clicking it prompts a small pop-up box with the Facebook video’s link in it
5.Copy the Facebook link. Click the link in the pop-up box, then press Ctrl+C (Windows) or ⌘ Command+C (Mac). Doing so will copy the link.
6.Paste the Facebook video’s link. Scroll down, click the text box below the “Enter the URL of video” heading, and press Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘ Command+V (Mac). The video’s link will appear in the text box.
Click DOWNLOAD. It’s a grey button to the right of the text box. Doing so will download the video from Facebook to the DownVids server, from which point you can download the video itself.
Click Download this Video. This grey button is below the text box. Clicking it promptsthe video to begin downloading to your computer.
Depending on your browser settings, you may have to confirm the download or select a download location before the video will begin downloading.
